Third Party Service Providers

We may share Personal Information with third party service providers in connection with the service providers’ performance of services to, or on behalf of, the Site (e.g., providing consumer affairs services, tracking Site analytics, processing payments, or performing other administrative services.) In addition, we may share your information, including Personal Information, with technical service providers (e.g., closed captioning providers) to help us provide our services to you pursuant to your request or with your consent.

In some instances, we may disclose certain Personal Information to the platforms where we distribute your content (e.g., iTunes, Hulu, Amazon, Google). For instance, if a dispute involving the platform arises, we may disclose your contact information to the platform. Additionally, if you use your name as your production company, that information typically will be disclosed to the platform.

When You Agree to Receive Information From Third Parties or Request That We Share Your Information

You may be presented with an opportunity to receive information and/or marketing offers from one or more third parties. If you agree at that time to have your Personal Information shared, your Personal Information will be disclosed to that third party (or parties) and will be subject to the privacy policy and practices of that third party. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of third parties, and, if you later decide that you no longer want to receive communications from a third party, you will need to contact that third party directly. You also may request, sometimes through your use of an interactive feature or third party application, that we share information about you with a third party and we will typically do so under those circumstances. Additionally, we may provide the ability for you to make certain information about your account publicly accessible (e.g., we may provide the ability to publicly share your wish list, which may publicly list certain Personal Information, such as your name or username).

Administrative & Legal Reasons

We may also transfer and disclose user information, including Personal Information and Usage Information, to third parties: (i) in the event we are required to respond to subpoenas or other legal process or if in our opinion such disclosure is required by law; (ii) to protect and/or defend the Site’s Terms of Use or other policies applicable to the Site; (iii) to respond to an emergency or otherwise protect the personal safety, rights, property or security of Premiere or any third party; (iv) to support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions; or (v) to exchange information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit-risk reduction. We may also use information about devices, including IP addresses, to identify users, and may do so in cooperation with copyright owners, Internet service providers, wireless service providers, or law enforcement agencies in our discretion. These transfers and disclosures may be carried out without notice to you.

Premiere may share information, including Personal Information with its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, primarily for business and operational purposes. We may also disclose and transfer your Personal Information: (i) to a subsequent owner, co-owner or operator of the Site or applicable database; (ii) if Premiere (or any of its affiliated, parent, or subsidiary companies) assigns its rights regarding any of your information to a third party; or (iii) in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of certain of Premiere’s ownership interests, assets, or both, or other company change, including, without limitation, during the course of any due diligence process.

Third Party and Affiliate Marketing

We do not share your Personal Information with third parties or affiliates for those third parties’ or affiliates’ marketing purposes unless you consent to such sharing.

Premiere works with certain third parties (including network advertisers, ad agencies, and analytics companies) to provide us with information regarding traffic on the Site, to serve advertisements, including our advertisements elsewhere online, and to provide us with information regarding the use of the Site and the effectiveness of our advertisements. For example, if you clicked on one of our advertisements that led you to the Site, our service provider(s) may be able to tell us which advertisement you clicked on and where you were viewing the advertisement. Some of these parties may collect Personal Information when you visit the Site or other online websites and services. These third parties may set and access their own tracking technologies (including cookies and web beacons) and may otherwise collect or have access to your Device Identifier, Usage Information and related information about you. Cookies, including those set by third party network advertisers, may be used to, among other things, target advertisements, prevent you from seeing the same advertisements too many times and to conduct research regarding the usefulness of certain advertisements to you. We may share Device Identifier and Usage Information about visitors with third party advertising companies, analytics providers and other vendors for similar purposes. While we may use a variety of service providers to perform advertising and analytics services, some of these companies are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising. You may want to visit http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp, which provides information regarding targeted advertising and the “opt-out” procedures of NAI members. You may also want to visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/, which provides information regarding targeted advertising and offers an “opt-out” by participating companies in the DAA Self-Regulatory Program. You may also opt out of tracking and receiving tailored advertisements on your mobile device by some mobile advertising companies and other similar entities by downloading the App Choices app at www.aboutads.info/appchoices.  Please note that opting out through these mechanisms does not opt you out of being served advertising.  You will continue to receive generic ads while visiting the Site and elsewhere online.

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us, such as your contact information. You may update your contact information through the “My Account” section on the Site [link]. If you maintain accounts on multiple Premiere Sites, you must update your account on each Premiere Site separately. Premiere will make good faith efforts to make requested changes in our then active databases as soon as reasonably practicable. Note, however, that information may persist internally for our administrative purposes and that residual data may remain on backup media or for other reasons.

You may opt out of receiving marketing e-mails by following the opt-out instructions provided to you in those e-mails. Please note that we reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to your account or use of the Site (for example, administrative and service announcements) and these transactional account messages may be unaffected if you opt-out from marketing communications.

Certain content on the Site may be hosted and served by third parties and the Site, and the Site may contain links to third party web sites that Premiere does not control. This includes links from advertisers, sponsors and partners that may use our logo(s). In addition, Premiere widgets or other Premiere content may be included on web pages and web sites that are not associated with us and over which we have no control. These third parties may collect Usage Information through the use of their own cookies and web beacons, independently collect data or solicit Personal Information, and may have the ability to track your use of their sites and services. Premiere is not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any third party.

Premiere takes commercially reasonable security measures through the use of administrative, technical and physical controls to help protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, please note that transmission over the Internet or wireless networks cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure; and therefore we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information we collect. You use our Site and provide us with your information at your own risk.

The Site is operated in the United States, but we may transfer or provide access to your information, including Personal Information, to our offices or service providers in other countries where the privacy and data protection laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside and/or are a citizen. By using the Site, or providing us with any information, you consent to this transfer. Wherever your information is processed, stored, and used, whether by our own offices or by our service providers, we follow this Privacy Policy and any additional requirements under applicable local law.

Premiere’s Site is a general audience site not directed at children under the age of 13. If Premiere obtains actual knowledge that any information we collect has been provided by a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete that information.
